Once I am registered, how do I find my class on Moodle? You will receive an email from the Women’s Life Office with your Student ID number. You will also receive an email from the IT department at SEBTS with your temporary password for CampusNet and Moodle. Once you log on the first time, you can and are urged to change your password. Directions for changing your password can be found on CampusNet, under the “Student Life” Tab, click “General Student Information/Services”. This will bring you to a new page, where you will see “CampusNet password change form”.

Is there childcare? Yes, we do offer childcare for Thursday evening classes. We encourage dads to stay home with the children if at all possible. When this is not possible, childcare is available on a first-come, first-serve basis at a nominal cost. You will have the opportunity to register children for childcare at the time you register for classes. Drop-In childcare is not available. BWI students will register their children for the entire term.
How much is childcare? For the first child a $12.00 fee is required and every child after that is $10.00 per term.
Who can take BWI Classes? All women are encouraged to take classes. We have students who are seminary wives, women in the local churches, and women in the secular workforce.

You can get credit in BWI for seminary level courses, but not the other way around.
What are the different tracks offered? There are four different tracks offered through the BWI. We offer a Certificate in Women’s Studies, an Advanced Certificate in Women’s Studies, and a Diploma in Women’s Studies and a Diploma in Women’s Studies with International Missions. To qualify for these different tracks requires a different number of required courses and elective courses. Please visit www.sebts.edu/academics/bwi/programs for more information on these tracks.
Do I have to decide what Track I am pursuing when I register? You do not have to decide what track you are pursuing at the time of your registration.
When are the required courses offered? Required courses are offered on a yearly basis. We try to offer them on different nights, as well as some weekend intensive each year.
How do I get my student ID? You can get your Student ID made on campus at SEBTS in the Locker, which is located on the main floor of the Ledford Center. The Locker is open Monday – Thursday 9 am to 4 pm, and Friday 9 am – 3 pm.
Can I just take classes, or must I be in a program? We encourage ladies to minimally complete at least the certificate in women’s studies, however, you are welcomed to take as many or as few classes as you would like.
If I decide not to take a class after registering, what should I do? You need to e-mail or call the women’s life office to officially drop the class. You will still be charged the $10. If you do not officially drop the class then you will receive an incomplete as a grade. Incompletes become failing grades after a period of time.
Can I audit a class? Yes, you can audit at the SEBTS regular audit fee of $50/course. Auditing will allow you to sit in on the class without the required classroom work.
If I see an elective that I am interested in but haven’t completed my required courses, what should I do? Required courses are offered on an annual basis, so they are always available. Electives are offered infrequently, so if you see an elective that you want to take, you should register for it when it is offered.
