We hope that you have heard about the Project:Compassion event by now and are planning to come. Today we are finishing up the final details, and we can't wait to see everyone tonight and hear from the McKinion's.
Here's what you can expect tonight at the event:
- Hear Dr. and Mrs. McKinion share their personal story about walking through cancer with their son, Harrison.
- Learn real ways to minister to those who are broken and hurting around us.
- Write encouraging cards to our own SEBTS families that are facing suffering. We will also write cards to families at a Cancer Center and their nurses.
- We will spend time praying intentionally for those who are hurting around us.
- Experience a great time of worship and light, yummy refreshments.
As you can see, we have a full night for you, and we can promise that you will walk away from this event with practical ways to love those around you who are hurting.
See you TONIGHT at 7pm in the Ledford Center on campus. If you have any questions contact Women's Life at (919) 761-2340 or womenslife@sebts.edu.
