The women of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary are invited to a reception on Thursday, February 11, 2010 in the Ledford Center on the campus of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.

There is a way to find the satisfaction we are all seeking, and we find it in relationship with Jesus Christ. All women are invited to join us for the Women's Life Gathering where Donna Gianes, author of "There's Gotta Be More: Enjoying the Spirit-Filled Life," will use Scripture and personal stories to remind us that the Spirit-filled life is the only way we can be the wives, mothers and women of purpose that God has created us to be. This
time of worship and teaching will be followed by a reception and book signing
with our guest speaker and president’s wives of the other SBC seminaries as
well as other ladies who lead in SBC life.
The Women's Life Gathering will be held Thursday, February 11, 2010 in Binkley Chapel on the campus of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Admission is free. Books will be available for purchase.

Please be in prayer for our students as they finish the semester. Pray that they study well and honor the Lord with their final papers and exams. As many students will be visiting family around the country (and world!) to celebrate our Savior's birth, please pray for safe travels and the opportunity to share Christ with unbelieving friends and family.

This year's Craft and Bake Sale was held on November 7 with over 40 ladies participating. Over 400 people came to support our student's, purchasing lots of great items from cheesecakes to turkey chilli, hairbows to baby blankets. Thanks to all those who participated in selling their crafts and baked goods!! For those who just came to shop and have a good time - thank you for supporting our students!
The latest Connecting Point event, Get Decorating, was held on November 2. Several Southeastern ladies volunteered to decorate a holiday table in our contest and the winner was...Jessica Alldredge! Congratulations!!! After some fun time of fellowship and checking out the decorations, the nearly 50 ladies in attendance were encouraged through Scripture by Christina Middleton. Thanks to all the ladies who participated in the contest and to Christina, Amanda and Kelly for encouraging everyone through worship and the Word.
